Family Law Pathways Network Twilight Seminar
To celebrate National Families Week 2022, the Gold Coast Family Law Pathways Network together with Bond University would like to invite you to attend a Twilight Seminar.
Our panel of speakers will discuss mediation under the topic 'Achieving better outcomes for separated families.'
Libby Taylor: Libby undertook her first mediation course in 1997 and has been teaching and designing mediation and other dispute resolution subjects for many years in the Law Faculty at Bond. She is an accredited mediator under the National Mediation Accreditation System and is registered as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. In 2022 Libby was recognised for service to dispute resolution by the Resolution Institute with a national award.
Rachael Field: Rachael is a Professor of Law in the Bond University Faculty of Law, and Co-Director of the Bond Centre for Dispute Resolution and Bond’s Centre for Professional Legal Education. Her areas of teaching and research expertise include dispute resolution, family law and domestic violence, lawyer and law student well-being and legal education (particularly foundations of law and transition in, through and out of law school). In 2013 Rachael was named Queensland Woman Lawyer of the Year.
Rachael Hempling: Rachael Hempling is a barrister, nationally accredited mediator, family dispute resolution practitioner specialising in keeping Australian families out of court. Rachael has over 18 years experience as a legal practitioner and has practiced as a barrister in Australia and a solicitor in England and Wales in the areas of crime, prison & parole, public order, domestic violence law and family law.
