Good afternoon everybody, welcome to this Bond University webinar to talk about our upcoming September semester.
We'll look to get started in about 5 minutes
Hey I missed the first three minutes of the webinar due to some technical issues; was there anything important points raised in that time?
Hi Sayuru, nothing major - just a general introduction!
Just the Introduction.
We are also recording this session so don't worry if you miss anything you can review at any time.
Welcome to all our prospective international students too - great to have you all here.
Any questions? Please ask them here! There will also be a Q&A at the end.

Is anyone else having trouble hearing clearly atm?
It’s better now
yes improved now 👌🏼
That's one of the wonderful things about Bond...small class sizes and personalised approach - won't change in the multi-modal learning context
Yes - staying connected and actively being part of our community is so important
If we live locally we will still be attending face to face lectures?
if we are from Victoria is still recommended to attend face to face learning for. next semester?
It seems that there is no exact Blackboard Learn App in the Apple store
So remote learning is possible for all courses for September semester?
I have a similar question. I am current in NSW. Am I able to join locally?

Most courses and subjects will be delivered multi-modally ie. students can attend virtually or face-to-face
Hi all,If you have questions about moving to QLD, please visit the official QLD Government page:https://www.health.qld.gov.au/system-governance/legislation/cho-public-health-directions-under-expanded-public-health-act-powers/border-restrictions.
There may be some limited exception eg. in Medicine programs, that may require on campus attendance so best to check with your individual subject convenors or lecturers
Sorry, correct link:
When attending face to face lectures will we have to wear masks? Also what social distancing measures will be taken? Thankyou!
We are following all state and federal guidelines and will do whatever we need to do to ensure a quality learning experience regardless of location
Also some financial funding options - see the team from OFS/Recruitment or on our website for info.
if we are unable to go on-campus, how will laboratories (eg science labs, anatomy labs) occur?
The subject iLearn sites also have 'Resource Lists' that provide lots of digitised readings and resources for students that are curated for different subjects. You can info on required readings and texts on the subject outlines.
Is orientation still on campus or online/ what are the dates for the September semester? As if we’re coming from a hotspot, will we be able to undertake online orientation if we need to quarantine during that time?
Hi Avleen, Orientation will be a mix of both to align with the multi-modal delivery. The official orientation schedule is coming soon, keep an eye on the following link for details - https://bond.edu.au/orientation203
Absolute pleasure joining you all today - can't wait to meet some of you!
Thanks for joining us today. Looking forward to seeing you all in September!
Thank you, too.

See you in 203!
